Shipping Policy

NZ Whiplights provide a nationwide delivery service, through contracted delivery company NZ Post. Our standard shipping with NZ Post takes about 2 - 5 business days to arrive from the time the order is placed.

You will receive a tracking order number with your order.  Email or txt update notifications are then sent to you directly from NZ Post outlining the progress of your parcel.

We will make every effort to keep to delivery schedules, but will take no responsibility for delivery delays beyond our control. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, point of delivery will be at the customer's premises. We are unable to deliver to PO Boxes in New Zealand.

All deliveries are subject to stock availability. We will attempt to get as accurate information as possible regarding stock availability.  If there is a delay in the stock being available we will contact you and let you know. 

We will not be liable for damages or for delay in delivery or for failure to give notice of delay when such delay is due to conditions beyond our reasonable control.

Viewing of products and pick up is available in Auckland. However, this can only be done by prior appointment. Please contact us directly to arrange a time.


REPLACEMENT (if applicable)
We replace items if they are defective or damaged upon delivery. If the product you have bought is faulty, we will provide a remedy as required by the NZ Consumer Guarantees Act. Please contact us immediately if you believe that the item you have received is defective, damaged or is incorrect.  

FAULTY ITEM / EXCHANGE RETURNS
To initiate a return, please complete the following steps:

  1. Contact us as soon as you receive the faulty item. Email: nzwhiplights@gmail.com

  2. Where possible, reply to your order confirmation email to request which products you would like to return.
    • Print the return shipping label that you will receive from us by email.
    • Send items back to us using the shipping label that we have provided. The cost of returning the item is the customer responsibility. This should be done within 7 working days of contacting us about the issue.
  3. Shipping costs of sending you faulty item replacements are covered by NZ Whiplights and are sent to the same address.

Clothing:  Shipping costs for Clothing and Apparel size exchanges will be covered by NZ Whiplights.

PRE-ORDER TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Pre ordering is possible for out of stock items. If a product is offered as Pre-Order we cannot guarantee with any certainty that this product will arrive at a certain time. In these Covid times an estimated time frame is provided, however this time frame may be postponed. Products offered as a Pre-Order face the possibility of being discontinued resulting in the customer not receiving the product. Customers will be notified as soon as possible if this occurs. If a  Pre-Ordered Product is discontinued a refund will be provided. 

We are not obliged to give you a refund if you simply change your mind about a purchase.

ORDER CANCELLATION
Ideally no order, once accepted by the us may be cancelled or varied by the customer except for good cause. But we know mistakes can be made so if we are able to cancel your order prior to dispatch we will refund to your original payment method where possible.
